City Holds Puppy Naming Contest
Parents & kids

The City of Henderson wants children to “Name Our Puppy.” The contest invites children and teens to suggest a name for the oversized puppy structure in the Bark Park at Heritage Park.

The five-acre Bark Park, which is located at Racetrack Road and Burkholder Boulevard, is set to open to the public this fall.

Details about the “Name Our Puppy” contest are available on the City’s website, to get there just click here and enter the keyword “barkpark” in the search box. Entry forms can be printed online and are also available at City of Henderson recreation centers. Once the puppy has a name, the Parks and Recreation Department will host a coloring contest to introduce the puppy and Bark Park to the community. The “Name Our Puppy” contest winner will be announced in early September.
