HENDERSON, Nev. -- Henderson Police detectives are looking for the man responsible for a murder that happened last week.

Police say Francisco Mata stabbed Pedro Ortega-Vivanco to death and critically injured Hector Ortega-Gonzalez. The two victims were were found in a gas station parking lot near St. Rose Parkway and Seven Hills Drive last Wednesday.

Police say a clerk at a gas station called 911 last Wednesday after seeing Ortega-Gonzalez outside the store covered in blood. She then saw Ortega-Vivanco wounded in the passenger seat of a van parked in front of the store.

When officers arrived, they found Ortega-Vivanco dead inside the van. Ortega-Gonzalez was transported to a local hospital.

Police say Mata confronted the pair about an ongoing dispute in the area of Lindell Road and Blue Diamond Road in Las Vegas. Ortega-Gonzalez was able to get into his van and drive away, ending up in the parking lot of the gas station in Henderson.

Mata is described as a Hispanic man, 5 feet 7 inches tall weighing about 180 pounds. He has brown hair that he pulls back into a ponytail. He has brown eyes and was last seen to be clean shaven.

He works in the construction trades and speaks English and Spanish. He also has been known to go by the name of Frank Badillo or Franco Badillo.
