Police have arrested six people in connection with multiple burglaries to homes in Henderson.
Henderson Police arrested 19-year-old Jacque Plant, 19-year-old Michael Gale, 21-year-old Adolphus Newell, 37-year-old Dennis Felton, 20-year-old Donique Divers, and 25-year-old Reinaldo Estrada-Hernandez.
Authorities said they received tips, video surveillance, and photographs from citizens reporting suspicious activity, which aided in capturing the suspects.
"It's a sad situation to be in especially for people who are elderly, people that are by themselves, it's just an awful thing to have to go through," resident Christina Gavlak said.
At least 15 homes were burglarized, but that number could grow, according to public information officer Scott Williams. Investigators are also working with Metro Police as the suspects could be tied to incidents throughout the valley.
"Partnerships with the community are the foundation of effectively preventing and solving crime," said Henderson Police Chief Patrick Moers. "This is another great example of how these partnerships can lead to collaborative problem solving."
The six suspects face multiple charges including burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of a stolen vehicle and gun charges.
"That community engagement is really what drives the force and partnering with us to help solve these crimes," Williams said.
Henderson Police believe there are outstanding suspects and continue their active investigation.
