Henderson Police find homicide victim during welfare check

HENDERSON, Nev. (KLAS) Henderson Police are investigating the death of a 55-year-old man who was found in his home.

According to police, the man was reported as a missing person by an out-of-state family member who also requested the welfare check at the man's home in the 1900 block of Cutlass Drive near Sunset Road and Valle Verde Drive.

Police found the man's body Tuesday around 7:10 p.m. and said it appeared he died of suspicious circumstances.

The victim's red 2011 Subaru Legacy with the license plate 263G63 is also missing.

This is the fourth homicide being investigate in Henderson this year. The man's identity will be released by the Clark County Coroner.
