Henderson officials are working with a local hospital to feature a display of children’s art designed to brighten the spirits of patients.

The city of Henderson and St. Rose Dominican Hospitals-Siena Campus are calling the exhibit “Impressions at Siena.” It is located in the third floor lobby at 3001 St. Rose Pkwy., and is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The gallery’s first exhibit features 32 works of art created by students at B. Mahlon Brown Junior High School using charcoal, oil and soft pastels, and collage. A new display will replace this one after April 25.

The city of Henderson also hosts and curates the City Hall Art Gallery, 240 Water St.; Pinnacle Children’s Art Exhibit, 203 S. Water St., Suite 300; The Gallery at the Henderson Multigenerational Center, 250 S. Green Valley Pkwy.; and Gallery at the Garden inside the Hilton Garden Inn, 1340 W. Warm Springs. Rd.

Henderson art teachers interested in showing their students’ art at Impressions at Siena or other city of Henderson-sponsored children’s art exhibits may contact Andrea Primo at 267-2171.
