Man's Parking Garage Fall Called Suicide

LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Police suspect suicide after a 31-year-old Henderson man fell to his death from a downtown Las Vegas casino parking garage.

Las Vegas police spokesman Jacinto Rivera said Jaime Griffin fell from the seventh floor of the Binion's casino parking garage and died about 6:30 p.m. Friday. Rivera says police crisis intervention members tried to talk with Griffin shortly before he jumped.

The Clark County coroner's office will make an official ruling on the cause and manner of death.
