City of Henderson Offering Free Mediation Services | News
The city of Henderson is now offering free mediation services to help neighbors resolve disputes.
According to the city, most community disputes involve nuisance complaints that can be resolved through a mediated conversation. During the mediation, the mediator will not make a decision or recommend an action but will guide a healthy and respectful discussion.
The mediator will help the parties work together to explore options and come to an agreement.
The program will be free of charge and will offer help for disputes, including neighbor to neighbor, landlords to tenant, homeowners association to resident and employer to employee.
To start the process, Henderson residents can contact the Neighborhood Justice Center at (702) 455-3898.
