Police: Armed suspects rob sportsbook at Henderson Casino

HENDERSON, Nev. -- Two suspects armed with handguns robbed a Henderson casino sportsbook Wednesday night, according to police.

Henderson Police said the two men entered The M Resort, located at 12300 S. Las Vegas Blvd., around 9:45 p.m. and went straight to the sportsbook, which closes at 10 p.m. Officers said the suspects approached two employees, pulled out handguns and jumped behind the counter, ordering the employees to get on the ground.

Police said one of the suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash from the drawers, before both of the suspects ran out of the building and jumped in a black four-door sedan.  No one was injured during the robbery. 

The suspects are described as white males in their early to mid-20s, about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall. Henderson Police said they weighed about 185 pounds each, and one of the suspects was wearing tan colored pants, a gray coat, and a dark baseball cap. 

The other suspect was wearing dark pants, a dark coat and a dark baseball cap.
