HENDERSON, Nev. -- Two men accused of being connected to a homicide in which a 20-year-old Henderson man was killed were indicted Friday.

Edward Zavalza, 21, and Jose Valle are accused of robbing and killing 20-year-old Walter Wu on Dec. 23. Henderson Police said Wu was discovered by Henderson firefighters in a home on Holly Tree Court.

Authorities said the home was set on fire while Wu was in it. He had been robbed and stabbed, police said.

Wu was taken to St. Rose Dominican Hospital where he died from multiple stab wounds and asphyxia.

In early January, officers arrested Zavalza and Valle, 21, for murder, conspiracy to commit murder, robbery and arson in connection with Wu's death.

Zavalza is charged with one count conspiracy, multiple counts of robbery, one count of murder and use of a deadly weapon and one count of arson.

Valle is charged with multiple counts of robbery, one count of arson and another count of accessory to murder.

Neither Zavalza nor Valle received bail. They will be back in court later this month.
