Police hopes public knows how man, 61, died

HENDERSON, Nev. -- Police hope the public will help lead them to knew clues about how a 61-year-old man, who was found dead near the Galleria on August 29th died.

Henderson Police said when officers were called to the intersection of Galleria Drive and Gibson Road at about 1:30 a.m., they found Franklin Campbell lying on the side of the road. After further investigation, detectives in the case said they realized he was probably killed in a hit and run accident.

They said Campbell was last seen by his family at the bus stop at Gibson Road and Boulder Highway at around 10:30 p.m., hours before his death.
